    Mr Mahesh S Anand

    Chairman

    Mr. Mahesh S. Anand is the President of Nippon Paint (India) Private Limited (Decorative Division). With over 27 years of experience in the paint industry, Mr Mahesh Anand is the current President of the IPA (Indian Paint Association).
    Apart from his corporate duties, Mr. Mahesh Anand is also very active in leading the CSR initiatives of Nippon Paint, which ranges from undertaking painting of corporation schools to providing painting skill training to underprivileged men and women through RPL certification and nshakti initiative. When time permits, he plays hockey and is an avid reader.

    An MBA from IIM Bangalore, Mr. Abhijit Roy started his career with Asian Paints and thereafter joined Lab Garnier. In 1996, he joined Berger Paints India Limited and has been MD & CEO from 1st July 2012. Mr. Roy is also the chairman of the Skill Subcommittee of CII (ER), member of CII National Council, President of Indian Paint Association and a Management Committee member of the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

    Mr Amit Syngle is the Managing Director and CEO of Asian Paints Ltd. Mr Amit Syngle, having joined the Company as a Management Trainee, has held several key positions across functions such as Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Research and Technology.
    He is credited with a lot of new initiatives and innovation platforms to grow the business over the last decade which has catapulted the company into exponential growth. He is closely associated with colour, decor and design and is a member of the Colour Marketing Group (CMG), USA and has been honoured with various awards by the Indian and International Marketing fraternity.

    Mr. Rajiv Rajgopal is the Managing Director of Akzo Nobel India since November 2018. He joined AkzoNobel in 2013 as Head of Sales and Marketing, Decorative Paints, AkzoNobel India and was appointed Country General Manager India in 2014. Rajiv was appointed as the Regional Director, Performance Coatings, Middle East & Africa in January 2017 and has served on the Boards of several AkzoNobel group companies in the Middle-East and Africa.
    Prior to joining AkzoNobel India, Rajiv was the CEO – Broadband & Data at Bharti Airtel Limited. He has also worked with organizations such as Hindustan Unilever and BP/Castrol India primarily in Sales, Marketing and Business Leadership roles.
    Rajiv is a Chemical Engineer from University of Mumbai and MMS (Marketing) from SP Jain, Mumbai of the 1993 Batch. He has attended programs at INSEAD Singapore and Harvard Business School and Centre for Creative Leadership.

    Mr. Sagar Goel is the Managing Director, Aureole Rubbers Pvt Ltd, one of the largest distributors of paints and coating chemicals in North India. A graduate from Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Mr Sagar Goel is also a post-graduate in Management (MBA). Mr Sagar Goel believes that entrepreneurship is about solving problems of others first and emphasises on ethics and professionalism in business.
    He is an active philanthropist, being on the boards of several education and religious institutions. He is currently President, Indian Paint and Coating Association.

    Mr Surendra Kumar Vats, the President of Indian Small-Scale Paint Association (ISSPA), is a well-known personality in the Paint manufacturing sector, having 40 years’ experience in the Paint Industry. Mr Vats is a Postgraduate from Delhi University. He was the Past Warden of Delhi Civil Defence. Mr Vats is National Treasurer of ABJB MAHASABHA and a Managing trustee of SHIROMANI SABHA HARIDWAR and DELHI SEWA DHAM AYODHYA UP.
    Mr Vats loves playing cricket, listening to music & is a student of Yoga

    Mr. Dilip Raghavan is the managing director of Colour Publications Pvt Ltd. A graduate in engineering from Mumbai University, he has pioneered many innovations in the publication. Colour Publications is the publisher of Paint India, the only periodical focused on paint industry in India and which has chronicled the progress of the industry for over six decades. The company also organises the Paint India exhibition, a biennial event which showcases all that is relevant for the coatings industry. The exhibition attracts participants and visitors from across the world.

    Mr. Jaiprakash Pravinchandra Shroff, Director Shroff Group is a Managing Committee Member – CREDAI Pune Metro. He is the Chairman – Kushal – CREDAI Pune Metro. He has a wealth of experience of over 30 years in the construction and real estate development sector. He has presented papers and has been a speaker in many prestigious national and international forums and has co-authored a book, “Laws applicable to Construction Industry”. He is also a visiting faculty in reputed educational institutions and is an active member of various trade bodies and associations.

    A co-promoter of Asian Paints Ltd., Mr. Jalaj Dani has spent over two decades in various capacities with the company. He is chairman of the board of governors for Indian Institute of Management, Tiruchirapalli and also a board member of National Skill Development Agency (NSDA) and a part of the Pradhan Mantri Kaushalya Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) Steering Committee, both of which function under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. Over the past decade, Mr. Dani has been personally overseeing philanthropic activites working towards the cause of infant and woman health and education in rural Gujarat and skilling of sports professionals. Mr. Dani was the chairman of the Paints and Coatings Skill Council (PCSC) from its inception in 2015 till September 2017.

    Mr. Jason Gonsalves has been with Kansai Nerolac Paints since 1994.
    48 years old, Jason has held various positions in Strategy, Industrial Sales, Corporate Planning, IT, HR & Supply Chain over the last 23 years. Today he is part of the Management Committee of Kansai Nerolac Paints.
    In his current role he is responsible for driving company’s strategy through Corporate planning & IT. He is also responsible for HR, Supply Chain & purchase operations.
    He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering and Master’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Mumbai.

    Mr-Ranjan-Choudhury

    Mr. Ranjan Choudhury

    Mr. Ranjan Choudhury is with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) since 2010 and has handled different positions of responsibility. Currently he leads the vertical handling Skill Competitions and is the Technical Delegate for India at WorldSkills International (WSI). WSI is an international membership organization that promotes VET and holds biennial skill competitions which provides a platform for global benchmarking. He is also part of the State Bank of India advisory committee for Centre of Excellence for Persons with Disability.
    Prior to joining NSDC, Mr Ranjan Choudhury was an entrepreneur and managed the vocational arm of a large corporate group.

    Mr. Milan Parekh has been associated with the Indian Small Scale Paint Association since 1987, completing nearly 30 years of dedicated service to ISSPA, in various positions. He runs a successful Paint Manufacturing unit in Pune. He served ISSPA as Chairman of Maharashtra Region for the period 2013-15, and was the president of ISSPA for the period 2017-19.

    An M.Tech (Paints Tech.) with an experience of more than 36 years in the paint industry,  Mr. Naveen Kumar Bhatia has handled various assignments in Asian Paints He has also worked as with MRF Limited – Speciality Coatings Division, SIP Industry Limited and is serving as Chairman and MD of Premium Coatings & Chemicals (P) Limited, a Company in the speciality paints business in Chennai. He is a past president of Indian Paint Association.

    Ms. Priyamvada Bhumkar is the Managing Director of Soujanya Color Pvt. Ltd., a global leader in innovative sustainable colour solutions. She is a graduate in Chemistry with an MBA in Finance from Mumbai University. An alumnus of the Harvard Business School as well as the Stanford School of Business, she has over 25 years of rich experience in the field of colour and dispersions.

    Mr. Promod Khanna, director, Punjab Paint Colour & Varnish Works (P) Ltd has five decades of experience of manufacturing paint and allied products. A past president of the IPA, his company has won awards for quality products, conferred by the President of India in the years 1993 and 2005 and an award from the Productivity Council for quality products in the year 1998. Mr. Khanna is an active member of the Merchants Chamber of Kanpur, IIA, FASSI and RAC of CBEC.

    Currently serving as Regional Director of CII Western Region, Dr. Saugat Mukherjee holds a Ph.D in Financial Economics ‐ An Empirical Study of Efficiency of The Indian Stock Market from Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Hyderabad. Dr. Mukherjee is responsible for important areas of work including Sectoral Verticals – Manufacturing, Services, Agriculture and MSMEs. He works closely with the relevant stakeholders to create Rural Development Infrastructure and sustain an environment conducive for the overall growth and development of the region.

    Mr. Vijayakumar is managing partner of Santha Paint House and chairman- Dreamcoat Surface Finishing System Pvt Ltd. A visiting lecturer on paints at the Architecture Department of Govt College of Engineering, Trivandrum, he is also consulted by practicing architects and interior designers on a regular basis. Mr. Vijaykumar is the president of All Kerala Paint Dealers Association.

    After completing education at IIT Madras and IIM Calcutta, Mr. V S Ram joined Asian Paints where he spent 35 years in various roles, the last as CEO of a JV with PPG Industries, serving automotive customers. Later, he headed a KOSPI listed pharmaceutical company in Seoul as its president for three and a half years. A past president of the IPA, and past chairman of the Asian Paint Industry Council, Mr. Ram has keenly participated in industry affairs all through his career.

    After completing education at Mumbai University and IIM Calcutta, Mr Jagdish Acharya joined Asian Paints where he spent 35 years in various roles, the last as CEO of a JV with PPG Industries, serving automotive, industrial and marine customers. Later, till March 2016, he was associated with Asian Paints as their Advisor-Corporate Social responsibilities. He was also the CEO of Jade Head Managers and Associates, a consulting company based in Mumbai which provides consultancy in the areas of Strategic Management, Organisational Development and CSR. He is now the CEO of the Paints and Coatings Skill Council. A past president of the India Business forum of CII in China and past co-chairman of the Indo-Korean Business Council of FICCI, Mr Acharya has keenly participated in industry affairs all through his career.
